MAIU @ Damansara Perdana

Went to Japanese Buffet with the high school buddies the other day at Maiu which located at Damansara Perdana. It's somewhere near Mutiara Damansara. :) But the restaurant is inside a building so it's a bit hard to find it.All I can tell you is Maiu is inside a place called The Place. Yeah I know. When we tried to give directions to each other, we tend to laugh whenever we said "you will find a place call the place" :P

Anyhow, we went in and started ordering. Yup. You heard me right. Order. They don't do self service type of buffet like shogun. But you order them through the menu. We reach there around 6.30pm so it wasn't that many people and the food came extremely fast and we couldn't catch up with the speed till the whole table was filled with food and there were no space for us to put our teas and so. But when it reached around 8.30pm, the crowd was terrible. We got fed up just because they serve our green tea ice-cream very slow. Haha. :P But overall the food was awesomeeee especially for such price~~~

Uhuh! You've seen it!!
RM38.80+ for Adults & RM20.00+ for Children!! :)

 Check out the lovelyyyy Shashimiii~~~
We ordered almost 3 rounds of these.

 They do serve Sukiyaki too!!
We chose beef! Damn! It's just simply delicious!!

Chawan Mushi is a MUST in a Japanese restaurant!

 California Sushi, Soft Shell Crab~~

Ebiko Sushi, Maguro Shushi, Salmon Sushi~~

 Beef Negi~~
This dish is really special!! Inside is actually vege and it's wrap with beef. :)

 Chicken Teppanyaki~~

Camwhore Time!!! :D
We are totally enjoying there and never bother about anyone around us.
Being noisy as usual.
Being drama queens as usual. :)

Oh oh!!! I forgot to mention!! We ordered Sake too!! But the sake was extra charge because it wasn't included in the menu. I must say the sake was gooooood~~~ :) The waiter was kind enough to help us cool the sake. Thank youuu!!! <3

It was a really satisfying buffet. Service was good. Food was awesome. Everything keeps getting better and better. Another recommendation!! :)

Alright. I better off now.
It's 1.12am.
Finals coming up next week!!
Jia You Jia You!! >.<

Sleepless Weekends~

19th & 20th November 2011. It was a unforgettable weekends as well as sleepless weekend. People usually sleep around 12midnight. We wake up at 12midnight. Weird huh? We're actually performing for the Penang Bridge International Marathon  but we need to cheer for the runners when they're starting to run. That explain why we're up at such odd hours right?

We began our journey on Saturday Morning. Head over to Bidor for breakfast.
That's us when we're walking to towards the restaurant.
Look at us.
Even when we're in the middle of the road, we're still that crazy.
Anywhere. Anytime. :)

FOOD!!!
At first we ordered duck drumstick but they ran out of that!!
And that time was just 10am!! :O
Too good business.

After we reached Penang, the first thing we did was resting in the hotel. While waiting the bosses to check in, we were resting at the lobby. Oh! The hotel we're resting is B-Suite.

Look at how dead and sleepy are we.

After checking in, we went to our respective rooms. The room was huge!!
I'm definitely missing showering there because it's soooo comfyyy!!
Some of us went to Michelle & Shyn's room for...er...girls talk?
Yeah. Something like that. XD
Wonder why am I holding my phone and seems like there's a picture there?
I was taking photo of the person who's taking this shot.
Presenting Michelle! :D

After the how shower, we head over to Queensbay Mall!! :D
All we wanted was Cha Time!
But some were hungry and heard the word McD, they quickly rush over there. =.=
Some of us ordered Cha Time and head over to McD.
What we can have in KL, we also try them in Penang.
Haha.

After that, the bosses had meeting so left us the crew wandering around the mall.
There's a DIGI event and they were having some game going on.
The chicken dance song were playing.
Check out the "kids" dancing chicken dance.
Totally enjoying it :P

After the mall, we head over to the opposite of the mall.
Conquering the beach yoo~~

We're totally enjoying the scene of Penang Bridge and the sea.
We really saw the Penang Bridge from here and the view is simply awesome.
Especially during dawn.
Man! Couldn't describe it. :)

What's more besides taking photos of each other? :)

Must take a group picture of course!

I believe I can flyyy~~~

Look at lady boss trying to show us something.
But something just catch our attention more. :P

You're gonna have fun laughing on the next picture we took.

TADA!!!!
Taking pictures in front of mobile toilets.
With different poses.
Amazingly Jakun no?

We had dinner after that at Bali Hai.
Was so friggin tired and actually slept in the car.
Back to hotel at around 11pm which we only had 1 hour 30 minutes to get prepare before the bus come and pick us up.
After shower, we slept for a while.
Like really a while.
15 minutes.
Then we are preparing to leave!!!

Even before we leave, we still take a group photo!!
Nice matching of colors?
That's who we are!
SDC!

Oh. That time we took was 12.30midnight.
Between 12.30midnight till 6a.m.
We cheer for the runners with pom poms.
Fool around.
Jump around.
Run around.
Sing around.
SLEEP around.

Then finally!
PERFORMANCE TIME!!!
It was so friggin tired but we still manage to perform the best out of us.
Giving out the best is the most important thing.
Giving out the smile even you're breaking down.

Showing off our Tee! :)

Head back to hotel around 8a.m.
Shower and took nap for around 3 hours.
Then we're leaving Penang.
But before that, we had Tandoori and Naan.
Awesome Lunch!!

We rested at Tapak on the way back for dinner.
Not much of choices.
So I had Mamak Style Mee Goreng.
And I FINISHED it!!!

Reached home almost 12midnight.
Didn't pack and went to sleep straight.
Had 16 hours of sleep and skip class whole day. :P
Bad influence.
Hehe.

My trip in Penang was just simply awesome.
Although it was a tiring weekend but it's indescribable.
Can't wait for the upcoming performance. :)

Another Awesome Weekend

Haven't you gotten your starbucks card yet? :) I've heard that many outlets ran out of the limited edition cards which is the snowman and the christmas tree. Go get it quick!! :D Oh oh! Did I mentioned that the tumblers are really cuteeeeee?? <3

It's such a long time since the last time I had my chocolate cream chip. Decided to get one instead of the usual green tea frap. :) I think I should try their christmas special frap too. Sounds nice~ Oh! I used the card for my first timeeee!!! So happyyyyy!!!

Friday after class, head over to MM Cafe with Joyce. She wanted to try after seeing all the yummy looking pictures on my twitter. Hehe. So decided to bring her this week. This time I ordered Fish & Chip.
 Fish & Chips
RM14.90
( I really love the texture of this fish and chips. Usually we eat outside, it's either the fish is too soft till it just splatter all around when you cut it OR it's you hard till you give up in cutting it. Oh! The fries!! My goodness!!! their fries are really awesomeeee!!! Ngam ngam hou!! Crispy, Salty. That's what we call fries!! Salad besttttt!!! :D Worth the money I must say )

Joyce ordered this. Mushroom & Onion Quiche.
RM10.90
I tried one mouth and oh man! I'm soooo gonna order this next time I come again. Damnnnnn!!! the mushroom sauce is sooo friggin niceeeee!!! There are some mushroom in between plus with the sauce. It's really an awesome dish!! The garlic bread was nice too!! Joyce wanted to ask how they cooked it. Haha. XD )

As for dessert, I ordered Creme Caramel.
RM5.90
( Not my type of dessert, the sauce was too sweet although it looks nice. The egg smell was too strong. Probably I don't really fancy this type of dessert. Hmmm...)

Bread n Butter Pudding with Ice-Cream
RM5.90
( Shit man! This worth the money 100x more than mineeee!!! The picture was a failed picture because the ice-cream fell from the top of the pudding before we manage to rescue the ice-cream!!! -.- I love the texture of the the combination!! I couldn't stop eating but I didn't order this so I controlled myself. But I will head over to MM next time to order this!! :D )

Starbucks @ The Curve is having a Grand Launch Party at 7pm and they are giving out 100 starbucks card to the lucky ones. Reached there at almost 6pm and found the line was soooo damn longgggg!!! Already exceed 100 people. But since I'm here, I think I should just queue up till my friends come only decide whether we should continue in lining up.

Check out the green man!! When we were really near to the green man, Amanda was starring at him and looking the the green paint that was painted on him. XD But we all agree that he will definitely take a really long time to clean his paint off.

While waiting, they gave us free ice coffee. Look at the cute small paper cups!! Wanted to bring it back for collection. XD But I didn't. :P

Although the cards are all given out but at least we still have vouchers!!! :D Free tall size beverage!! At least the waiting was paid off! Happy~~~ :)

After that, we head over to Ikea for dinner~~ Meatballs yooo!!! Remember in the previous Ikea Food Rreview post that I mentioned about the almond cake? Here it is!!!
I ordered the sweeter one! Niceeeeee~~~~ They have the almond on top of the cake and in between they have chocolate and...hmm... I don't really know what's the name of the ingridients. XD But it was really nice. If you go to Ikea Cafeteria, this cake is a must try!!

Thank you Amanda and Brian for the dinner!!! You two are too nice lahhh!!! Next time I belanja k? :)

Saturday Morning head over to Old Town White Coffee @ Subang Avenue to finish up Assignment.
Ordered Enriched Chocolate Drink!! <3

Love this drink soooo muchhh!!!
It's very chocolaty as if the drink is made up of melted chocolate. Like the real chocolate! :D
After hours of struggling and researching, finally assignment is DONEEE!!!!
What's left is quiz and presentation on Monday.
After that, head over to studio for practice or jamming session.

Only Mel, Shyn and I came.
We practice dancing with heels.
Sexy moves, swag, head swing.
We also practice a bit of popping, the choreo for penang show and some stretches.
It was a productive practice session. :)

Ok. I better stick myself to the book now.
See you soon!!

xx

Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant @ Menjalara

Ho Ho Ho!! Merry Christmas!! Christmas is coming soon. Winter is coming soon too! Such a cold weather, steamboat is the best! :)
Hey! Wake up girl! You're living in Malaysia. No winter here. =.=
But Malaysia do have rainy day. :D No matter what the weather is, steamboat is always a good choice for dining. I manage to find one steamboat restaurant at Menjalara that has a reasonable price.

We ordered sets of three and some side orders. You can choose either Ying Yang which is two soup in one pot or just one type will do as well. We only chose one type that time. :)

Waiting for the soup to boil.
Faster~ Faster~

My favourite Mushroom~~
What do you call this kind of mushroom in English?
I only know it's call 金针菇 in Chinese. :P

 Eggs. Bee Hoon. Yee Mee.

 Still waiting~~

Fish. Prawn. Fish Mee. Taufu. Wantan. Fu Chok. Fishball. Vegeball. Many more.
Are you feeling hungry right now? :D

Ready to eat!!! :D

Unfortunately, they don't have any beef slice but they do have pork. So this restaurant is a non-halal restaurant yea. Beef~~~ :( Overall I'm really satisfied with everything except for the beef....=.=
The service was good too although it's a bit slow. We have this guy who serve us really well and make sure we get everything right. :) It was a really good and satisfying steamboat experience. I did mention the price was quite reasonable right? We ordered that much and pay around RM77.

Regarding the food, all were tasy except for one. Not because the food wasn't nice. Just that I don't fancy it because I'm a person who don't really like celery. I also dislike the smell of it especially when it's cook. They got this meatball thingy that has celery inside and it tastes horrible. I hated it. Bluek! The seafood like prawn and fish are really fresh. I really love the fish mee!! For all taufu fans, you should know what's the minimum requirement for Taufu right. Taufu must absorb juice / soup at its maximum. And you can get those kind of taufu in Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant! :D

Oh Right! They do sell Guava and Black Jelly as well. Actually not the restaurant selling but there are sellers who walk around the restaurant and sell them. We bought guava and the black jelly. They are nice!! :D For my opinion. Although it's a bit pricey but I still think they're nice. Hehe. :P You guys should really go give it a try too! :)

This restaurant definitely worth to try next time!
